WORLD OF COLOUR
We want to introduce you to four of our new favourite colours: Algae, Dolphin, Orchid and Dew. And bring back two cult favourites, Army and Chocolate.
In nature, colour is never treated as an exception. Blue sits beside green, purple grows from brown, and everything belongs together. It was always meant to be this way.
That idea shaped the palette of MOSS. Colours that are chosen to be worn together, without needing a neutral to make them make sense.
To us, colour is the neutral.
ALGAE
Algae are some of the oldest living organisms on earth, responsible for producing around 50 percent of the oxygen we breathe. Bright, strange and essential.
DOLPHIN
We nearly called this one Noctiluca scintillans, after the tiny organisms that can make the ocean glow electric blue at night. Dolphin was easier to say.
ORCHID
There are more than 28,000 known species of orchid, making them one of the largest families of flowering plants on Earth. Still, we think the world needs more purple.
DEW
Dew forms when warm air cools and water gathers quietly across leaves, grass and petals. A colour borrowed from those first pale moments of morning.
ARMY
A colour borrowed from utility, camouflage and the landscape itself. Designed to disappear into nature, somehow becoming instantly recognisable instead.
CHOCOLATE
Cacao trees grow in warm, tropical forests near the equator, producing pods that ripen through shades of green, yellow, red and purple before their seeds become chocolate. Even Chocolate starts with colour.
